The Administration recommends no change to the City’s current annual non ad-valorem Fire Assessment rate (maintains residential annual rate at $169.00 per residential unit). Establishes that this Proposed Rate will be noticed using the County TRIM notice to property owners and sets a Final Public Hearing on the Assessment Rate at City Hall on Monday, September 15, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. |

Fiscal Impact/Cost Summary |
|
Provides funding for costs of City’s annual Fire services that are contracted through the Broward Sheriff’s office. Gross collections are forecast at $5,185,388 resulting in an estimated annual revenue of $4,926,118 after an estimated provision of 5% that will ultimately be unrealizable and uncollected. |
